The excursion program was perfect to unleash our excitement and energy. Rambled through the Lower Manhattan, we were immersed to "The Capital of World Commerce" filled with skyscrapers laid on village-like dynamic street pattern, arrays of strong Corinthian-styled columns, and exciting amenities. All of them are composed to create the city at its best; lively urban space. Hence, to reflect the solid richness of urban space of the city of New York, I captured some expressions of fellow Fulbrighters during the excursion program. I was not able to candidly took a picture of each Fulbrighters, but at least these pictures can illustrate our enthusiasm and energy. Click!

Our Expressions
The exhaustive feeling after flew across the half of the globe and spent almost 20 hours up in the air were instantly eroded after I met the fellow Fulbrighters. Yes, I had experience of studying abroad beforehand but to gather with international scholars from each of the continent was truly quite an experience. During the first gathering orientation kick-off, I felt the impulse of energy spread out inside the room. The energy that is not only reflects our enthusiasm & ambition, but also the energy we received and streamed inside ourselves from the hustle bustle of the Big Apple,...the city of New York.

Thank you Abi! I can indeed feel the energy rising as we are getting to discover more of the city. It is a pleasure to see how you have been secretly capturing our candid expressions during the excursion today but one of your pictures here really caught my attention. The one of Shea laughing out loud. This expression really shows how much he is enjoying our company here in NY. Thank you Abi, Thank you Shea. The St Johns experience is already becoming unique.
