Hence, the opportunity to participate in the Pre-Academic program in New York City really put myself into the places and spots I was always looking into. The experience to immerse myself with the city brings the tune and lyrics I was once only able hearing from far away came into a life. Without a doubt, the city sightseeing twilight cruise was perfect to trigger the feeling as if I live inside this song; Death Cab for Cutie - "Marching Bands of Manhattan."
So here it is, few pictures I have captured during the twilight cruise around the isle of Manhattan.

These pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I want to do in this country is attending shows of these kind of bands. This kind of music wakes me a lot of feelings.
ReplyDeleteMany times, after a show, those feelings are alive for days.
And during these days I enjoy walking across the city more than other days. (I hope even in LA, where I really don't know if walking will be possible).
Walking, watching, listening and visiting the places that are part of my personal soundtrack, making my own video clip.
And now, images are coming (and also they will come). Images located in my memories, because of many movies or video clips. I love thinking in the soundtrack of my life, and making songs part of my life.
I haven't listened Death Cab for Cutie in the last weeks, and I think your song is a good choice to be part for this soundtrack mixed with these new images. A new beginning. Thanks for sharing it!
