Great Adventure

When I left Cameroon for the US, I had it at the back of my mind that all am going to see and do is studying in a confined University environment with no fun. I envisaged a very boring experience. That seemed very true when I spent about 22hours travelling from Cameroon, through Brussel and finally the US. But, my thoughts turned tupsy turvy when I got in to the St John's Manhattan campus. Men, its really been a great adventure and wonderful experiences. A wonderful team of staff, a chilly atmosphere and a great show case of interpersonal relationship amongst the fulbrighters and staff. I mean, I can't overemphasized the great walk yesterday with Shea. It was owesome. I saw everything in New York. Should I talk about the World Trade center?, the statute of liberty?, the winter home around the river or the Sept 11 church halll??? Or the others I saw?. Was very sad when the rain threatened US after Tejan had promised taken us to the ferry.  But that didn't stop my excitement as Shea made us walk through very beautiful areas. Am so overwhelmed with the beauty of this city. I wish  the adventure continues. Its all about a wonderful experience for me. Am so happy.

  2. That is a great depiction of the adventures we have had so far in New York man, We are here to make history not only in the academic education America has to offer us but also in sharing our experiences as Fulbrighters form different continents in a way that promotes diversity in unity!Bravo!
